Under this umbrella, we collect several projects focussed at fostering the active discovery, the communication of know-how and the collection of data about the Tangible and Intangible Heritage of Cairo.
“Take a coffee with your heritage!” is the second step of our action on communicating Heritage, started with the international conference “Downtown Cairo. Sharing competences about documenting and communicating heritage” (24-25 March 2012). The project target at improving the dialogue between experts on heritage and the inhabitants of Downtown, to start sharing know-how from one side and histories, legends, personal experiences from the other.
